Do I need to hire a plumber to come after the installation to connect my plumbing or electrical devices?

You will need a plumber to come in and disconnect any plumbing in the vicinity prior to the installation appointment. You’ll also need him to reconnect everything after the installation.

We can provide a third-party, licensed plumber to take care of everything for a flat rate of $300. Or, if you already have a plumber in mind, you can hire your own.

How do I schedule my job and receive an installation date?

Does granite need to be resealed regularly?

Resealing largely depends on how much abuse it takes. If you’re constantly sliding cast iron pans across it, it’s going to wear out fairly quickly. But under normal circumstances, it will take a while. If you’re wondering whether it needs to be resealed, simply pour a small amount of water on it. If it beads up, it’s sealed. If it soaks into the granite, darkening it, then you likely need to have it resealed.

We will attach your granite countertops to your cabinet with silicone. Once the granite is installed, its weight will hold it down and ensure that it stays where it’s supposed to be.

Do I need to reinforce my cabinets for granite installation?

No, that’s not necessary. Normal cabinets should be able to sufficiently distribute the weight of a granite countertop so that reinforcement is not needed.

Will I have an opportunity to see my stone slab(s) before my countertops are installed?

Absolutely! When you come to our showroom, you’ll have the opportunity to see – and pick out – the perfect stone slab for you.
